great buy. cheap and it gets the job done. This will def put a sharp edge on any blade. however be aware that it is only a carbide Sharpener. which means it won't sharpen an edge well, this is more of a "Primer" type of pencil sharpeners. I would advise using a ceramic Sharpener after use, e.g. Smith, Pocket pal even cheap and is a great addition with multiple functions of sharpening.
